EDLD 5301 -Week 4 - Revision of Action Research Plan

After looking at the comments from my colleagues and meeting with my site supervisor, I have tweeked my ARP in a few ways.  I added my assistant principal to the person responsible category in many columns.  She and I will be working very closely on these portions of the ARP.  I changed my actual research question to add the specific data collection component.  I added online to my surveys because I felt this was a great technology component and it was easier to complete by the participants and more time effective.  Please feel free to provide comments/feedback/suggestions/questions.  I'd be glad to hear from you!

Action Research Plan

For the 2013-2014 school year, our campus will be implementing Standards Based Bulletin Boards in an effort to improve overall student academic success.  I am interested in following the progress of both teachers and students as they undergo learning a new way to "dig deeper" into learning and being able to identify where their learning comes from and why.

How will the implementation of Standards Based Bulletin Boards affect the academic success of students at James A. Arthur Intermediate School?
